Club Approved CFIs

New members must receive a checkout in each Club aircraft that they wish to fly by a Club-approved CFI. The list of approved CFIs can be found in the "Messages" section of ScheduleMaster.

Subsequent flight instruction may be performed in club aircraft by any CFI who is current by FAA standards, subject to a few exceptions.

  • If a member is not able to act as Pilot In Command (such as when the pilot is out of currency), then the instructor (who must act as Pilot In Command) must be on the approved list.
  • It is not necessary for a member to regain currency by utilizing a Club aircraft; the pilot may regain FAA currency elsewhere.
  • If you wish to add your favorite CFI to the approved list, please contact the Membership Chairman.
